AOFKA is the new DACH conference series for applied surface and solid state analysis.
AOFKA , as a joint of the two established conferences AOFA and FKA, can look back on a common 50-year history in this year.
AOFKA2025 is the third conference of the new series.
AOFKA2025 takes place in Kaiserslautern, Germany from 30 June to 2 July 2025.
AOFKA2025 , is organized by “Institut für Oberflächen- und Schichttechnik” IFOS with the support of the “Deutsche Vakuum-Gesellschaft DVG e.V.”
AOFKA covers all areas of the use of surface and solid state analysis, focusing on the application of the latest instrumental methods in both basic and applied research and technology.
AOFKA2025 will inform about the manifold research activities in this field through invited lectures and oral contributions as well as poster presentations by the participating scientists.
AOFKA2025 also offers you as a manufacturer of surface analysis related products in addition to the scientific lecture program the opportunity to present your latest products to the scientific audience in the context of a small industry exhibition combined with a short oral presentations.
Kaiserslautern the venu of the AOFKA2025 is the economic center of the West Palatinate region. The former industrial city has developed into a successful service and technology location in recent years. The Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University RPTU and University of Applied Sciences as well as numerous research institutes and innovative start-ups provide new impetus. As a “warmly digital city”, Kaiserslautern is making a name for itself nationwide as a pioneer in the field of digitalization.
